3 nights at ol Donyo Lodge in a Standard Pool Suite on a fully inclusive basis. ol Donyo Lodge is a Relais & Châteaux and National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World member property with seven suites located on the slopes of the Chyulu Hills overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro. Three nights hardly does justice to the plethora of activities on offer in this Maasai land. Choose between day and night game drives, walking, village visits, exploring lava tunnels, horse riding, mountain-biking, sleeping under the stars on your roof-top bed, watching big tusker elephants drink from the waterholes below the lodge, or just relaxing in your pool suite. 3 nights at Mara Nyika Camp in a luxury tent on a fully inclusive basis. Mara Nyika, meaning “Large Plains or Great Plains,” is an intimate tented camp set in a valley, straddling a small stream on the western side of the Naboisho Conservancy bordering the Maasai Mara, offering guests 3 luxury guest suites in addition to 2 x 2 bedroom family suites. Mara Nyika’s light-coloured canvas tents were designed to sit under the canopy of umbrella thorn trees while still offering guests views out over the plains. Never I thought i would use a “travel agent” to plan my trip until i came across Tierra. Unlike others in this space, its easy for them to know the nuances of a traveler being such well traveled themselves, and they won’t sell you anything that they wouldn’t do for themselves. I am very particular about the properties i like to stay in and honestly, they couldn’t have picked better ones for my honeymoon. Especially loved the cozy little B&Bs in peaceful surroundings. We were traveling to Greece, our dream destination, with our one and half year old son to Greece and were a bit apprehensive.
